haha well, yesterday there were some leaked pics of Hiccup in HTTYD 2 floating around tumblr (then DWA asked to take them down, but I suppose it's kind of fine to make fanart?? ?? ??? I mean sooner or later we would find out welp), and they just inspired me so~

I don't exactly see them as a couple in this here drawing, but if you want to put on the shipping goggles it’s all fine by me

I just kind of love the idea of Merida practicing her diplomacy skills as she grows older by being a sort of ambassador to other lands and taking care of peace treaties and whatnot, all the while having on adventures and discovering new cultures and people and all of that can just be a real eye opener so she can be a wise queen just like her mother ;v;

and Hiccup, being the future chief, would do well to brush up his communication skills as well adkjfhkdjs
