Sooo... how's everything?
*fails at trying to keep this journal interesting*

Oh, heck. I don't really have anything to say... There's nothing special going on in my life. Just hanging around the computer most of the time.
I believe the only interesting thing I've done since my last journal was on Thursday, when I spent the night at a friend's house. It was pretty fun, it was just the three of us, we rented some movies, did silly things that I shall not mention here (xD)... We watched Borat (OH MY GOSH, I didn't know whether to be in complete shock or burst out laughing xD) aaaand... Well, obsessed as I am, I also convinced them to watch the first Transformers film. I'm guessing they liked it! And what was even funnier was once we finished watching the film, I tried to explain some things about it that they didn't understand. ^{(lolz, if I'm obsessed about something I like doing some "research" on it xD)} I sounded like a nerd.

Weeell, enough of that.
I also have this little announcement to make: this Friday or Saturday I'm going on a week long mini-vacation with my uncle. We're going south, to this camping park that is located near the shore. It's gonna be so much fun, specially 'cause he's gonna take an RV. Lol, I've never been in one of those things...
So, all of that to say that I probably won't be around next week. I'll let you know when I get home though. I'm planning on making some art trades, if there's some people interested.

tugaMaggie - the "tuga" thing is something we Portuguese call ourselves sometimes. "Maggie"... Well, my full name is Margarida. You don't need to be a genius to figure out where that came from.

2) Why did you join this site?
Well, at first it was just to show my *coughhorriblecough* drawings and sketches, but over time I guess I just wanted to get to meet other artists and get some critical feedback of my works. Still, I like being here even if it's just for the lolz.

3) What fandom were you obsessed with when you joined?
Haha, it was Ratatouille. I remember as if it was yesterday. In fact, it was the Pixar movies that inspired me to become an artist in the future. I hope I can get a job in the animation business...

4) Were any of the fandoms you have currently brought about by this site?
Jee, don't get me started... Guess the main three were Danny Phantom, Avatar (these two are *sharpie91's fault xD) and more recently Transformers.

"Sleep, my love", definitely. [link] Guess it's because I'm very attached to my own mother, and she's a very sweet, self-sacrificing woman, just like Zuko's mom. Sometimes I feel like I can't thank her enough for what she sacrifices for me and for our family, she deserves more than what she gets.

11) Best COMPLETED piece you ever did?
I think it was "Sleep, my love" as well. I actually managed to make a decent background, with good perspective! 8D x) I love the lighting on that one too.

12) Work that took the longest?
Either "Ready for Battle" [link] , "Kyoshi Warrior" [link] or "Sleep, my love" again. Can't decide on which. But they drove my crazy.

13) DA artist who has influenced you the most?
Gee, so many... But I must mention and cuz they're not just great artists in the making, they're also great friends. Oh, and I also love 's style. ^^

14) What is currently the funniest thing to draw?
Haha, silly little doodles of whatever comes to my mind. I've been having a lot of fun with my tablet while my scanner's not working.
